       “Value Focus”

“The test of courage comes when we are in the minority.  The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority.”  In spite of the fact that I’m just another resident of GeoCare RRC, how I chose to convey myself is completely up to me.   Many of the residents here choose speak irrational and practice criminal behavior and do absolutely nothing positive for their future.  Like they say, when you kill a little time, you’re murdering opportunity.  Every decision I make will dictate the success or failure of my future beyond the RRC.  For this reason, I chose to adhere to my values as I did throughout my incarceration.  By adhering to my values such as humility, Godliness, responsibility, gratitude, objectivity, etc, as well as making valued based decisions and executing actions based on values.  Success is at the tail end of my actions.  I think, therefore I am!  I’m anticipating that I’ll be released for home confinement on an ankle monitor very soon.  I’m going to be utilizing that time to further educate myself in business and administration.  Additionally I’ll be working on cultivating past relationships with old friends and positive peers, furthermore expanding on new network support members which will help me to build up a stronger base to meet the demands of my future goals.  ”A man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” — Andre Gide
