Today was my first fire drill experience.  One unit at a time the guards unlocked our cells and made use walk in a single file line to all three chow halls where they did a head count and then they had us return to our cells so that they could run the fire drill on the rest of the prison.  We didn’t get to eat lunch until after 2 pm because of this.

Ive turned in many kites (requests) for various reasons such as college courses, AA meetings and religious services.  My bunky told me it should only take three to five days to get a response on a returned kits, but Ive received nothing of the sort.   No big deal, Ill just keep trying until I get results.  Ive got all the time in the world!
