This morning I woke up at 7:15 am.  At the moment, in this prison, it won’t do me any good to get out of bed in the middle of the night like Michael Santos does.  Unlike him, I’m locked in a two man cell approximately 22 hours a day.  My bunky goes to baking class from 7:30 to 10:30 am so this is my opportunity to do things more difficult to do with another man in this tiny cell.  From 7:15 to 7:30 I made myself a cup of coffee, washed my face, brushed my teeth, giving myself time to wake
up.  7:30 to 8:00 am I read from the New Testament and had Morning Prayer and meditation with the Lord.  From 8:00 am to 9:00 I worked out and I didn’t stop until 9:00 am like I committed myself yesterday when I formulated this new schedule.  I did everything from stretches, crunches and push-ups to jump n jacks.

From 9:00 to 10:00 I’m writing in my journal, writing notes for my Autobiography and depending on how long it takes me to finish, I will read from one of Michael Santos books until lunch.  I will write more about what my day consists of later on as I accomplish my planned tasks.

After lunch I went to recreation outside with a man I know from the county jail.  We go jogging on the track.  We’re both over weight and we get exhausted equally around the same amount of laps.  We seem to be a good match as far as keeping up with each other.  Plus he’s not an alcoholic or drug addict and so far he doesn’t seem to go looking for trouble.  So far he’s the only man I will associate with in this place.  Were up to jogging around give to seven laps, which may not seem like a lot, but the track is really long.  After I got back from recreation at 2:00 pm, I took a shower after getting permission from the guard.  I also washed my cloths in the shower.

After that I worked in my Straight-A-Guide workbook and wrote a letter to my Father.  I also read a few chapters from the book “Triumph” by Michael Santos.  Then I took a break and watched the learning channel with my bunky until dinner.  After dinner, which is now, I’m continuing my journal and after this I’ll be reading more of the Triumph book.  I make sure that I’m always highlighting and taking notes of all sorts.  After that I will relax by playing a game of rummy with my bunky or watch some television.  I’ll retire with prayer after brushing my teeth and washing my face before going to sleep between 8 and 9 pm.
